Luxembourg’s Ministry of Culture and the Luxembourg American Cultural Society are proud to present Buffalo C. Wayne and Band as this year’s featured artists.  His special Luxembourg – USA Concert will dazzle an audience and demonstrate his outstanding skills as both vocalist and performer.

Buffalo C. Wayne’s Story

              Buffalo (Claude Weber) was born in 1953 in Ettelbrück, Luxembourg.  At the age of 15, the young red-headed Buffalo, known as “Reddy”, filled local dance halls with his own rock n’ roll band “The Pink Five”.  His vocal skills and energy as a performer were obvious at a young age.  Over the years he lived in Luxembourg and Texas and worked as a nurse, truck drive, DJ, and shop manager before he studied fashion design in Paris.  For some years he worked in the fashion business in Paris and New York.

              In 1982 he put together his first Buffalo Wayne Band and started writing country songs.  Ever since, he has played all over the world and alongside some of the greatest stars in country music including Loretta Lynn, Kenny Rogers, Johnny Cash, Lyle Lovett, Conway Twitty, Katy Moffat, The Moody Brothers, and more.  His tours have taken him to the U.S., Europe, Russia, and Eastern Countries.  He recently headlined festivities in Iceland, Denmark, Switzerland, France, Benelux, Germany, Lithuania, Russia, and Latvia.  He has released 10 CDs and a multitude of video clips. 

              Currently living in Luxembourg, Buffalo will impress you with his XXL-baritone voice, his warm character and colorful stage presence.  He is proud to speak many languages including Letzebuergesch, French, German, US-English and another of his favorites – Southern Drawl!
